We started pulsewavex in 2018 after seeing too many people lose money because they didn't understand the basics. Not complicated strategies or insider secrets. Just fundamentals.
Seven years later, we're still focused on the same thing: teaching stock market principles that actually work in Taiwan's market environment.
Founded pulsewavex with a simple goal: create educational content that explains stock market fundamentals without jargon. Our first workshop had twelve attendees in a borrowed office space. We focused on reading financial statements and understanding market cycles.
Developed structured learning paths after feedback from early participants. Added modules on risk management and position sizing because people kept asking about them. Started offering weekend sessions to accommodate working professionals.
Relocated to Datong Road with proper classroom facilities. This let us run multiple sessions simultaneously and accommodate different learning paces. We also started maintaining a resource library with market data relevant to Taiwan exchanges.
Currently working on advanced modules scheduled for autumn 2025. We're developing content about sector analysis and macroeconomic indicators, based on requests from people who've completed our foundational courses.
We teach you how to read financial statements and interpret market data. No predictions or hot tips, just analytical skills you can apply consistently.
Every concept we cover includes examples from Taiwan Stock Exchange and Taipei Exchange. You'll work with actual financial reports and market scenarios during sessions.
We explain why certain analytical approaches work and when they don't. You'll understand the limitations of every tool and technique we discuss.
Building market knowledge takes months, not weeks. Our programs run for extended periods because that's how long it actually takes to develop solid analytical habits.
Questions are expected, not just welcomed. We maintain small group sizes specifically so everyone can ask about concepts they find confusing.
You'll have access to our market data archives and analysis templates after completing programs. Learning doesn't stop when the course ends.
Our instructors come from analytical backgrounds in finance and economics. They've worked in market research roles and understand Taiwan's financial sector from practical experience, not just textbooks.
Lead Instructor, Market Fundamentals
Siobhan spent eight years as an equity research analyst before joining us in 2019. She specializes in teaching financial statement analysis and valuation methods.
She's particularly good at explaining accounting concepts to people without finance backgrounds. Her weekend workshops on balance sheet analysis consistently fill up first.
Outside of teaching, she maintains our curriculum materials and updates our market data resources quarterly.
We're expanding our advanced curriculum throughout 2025. The plan includes modules on sector-specific analysis and macroeconomic indicators.
We're also building out our resource library with historical market data going back twenty years. This will give participants access to multiple market cycles for analysis practice.
By early 2026, we expect to offer specialized tracks for people interested in specific sectors like technology, manufacturing, or financial services.
If you're interested in learning systematic approaches to market analysis, our next foundational program starts in September 2025.
